For providers: publish your own calendars

If you delete an event, it simply disappears from your subscribers' calendars – many will not notice. Cancel it instead: it stays, the calendar shows a cancellation note before the title, and your calovo pages mark it as "Cancelled".
How it works
Open the event in calpit for editing.
Set "Event cancelled?" to "Yes" and save.
If it takes place after all, set the switch back to "No".
Good to know
The switch is available for events you created yourself or took over with "Recognise events". Imported events are changed by their source, and recurring events do not have it, because it would cancel every date of the series.
In a training schedule you cancel single sessions directly on the session.
Calendar apps refresh subscriptions at different intervals; Google can take up to a day.
