On iPhone and iPad it is quickest this way: open the calfeed on calovo, tap “Subscribe”, and choose Apple devices. iOS then asks whether to subscribe to the calendar – confirm with “Subscribe”, done. The calfeed appears in your Calendar app immediately.
Alternative: set up the subscription manually in the Calendar app
- Copy the calendar URL of the calfeed (how to find it).
- Open the Calendar app and tap “Calendars” at the bottom.
- Tap “Add” / “Add Calendar” and then “Add Subscription Calendar”.
- Paste the calendar URL and confirm – depending on the iOS version with “Subscribe” and “OK” or with “Search” and “Done”.
Tip: store it in iCloud
If you choose iCloud as the account during setup, the subscription automatically appears on all devices signed in with your Apple Account – iPhone, iPad, and Mac at the same time. Without an iCloud account, the subscription stays on that device only.
If it does not work
If the dialog does not appear or iOS reports an error, first try the option “Apple devices (alternative)” in the subscribe dialog – it uses an encrypted variant of the calendar address and fixes many error messages. If that does not help, work through “Calendar does not appear or does not update”.
