The season has started, but your schedule calendar shows no new matches? There is usually a simple explanation.
“More events to follow” – what does that mean?
If a calfeed currently contains no events, you see exactly one entry instead of an empty calendar: “More events to follow”, dated one year in the future. That is a placeholder from us and simply means: no further events have been announced for this calendar yet. As soon as the provider publishes new events, the placeholder disappears automatically.
Why this happens
Many calfeeds run continuously and fill up with the new season automatically – then you only need to allow for your app's fetch delay. For some clubs and competitions, however, a new calfeed is created for the new season (e.g. “Season 2026/27”). Your old subscription then still points to the old calendar – which no longer receives new events.
How to fix it in 2 minutes
- Open your calfeed's page on calovo. The other calendars from the same provider are listed there – alternatively use the calendar overview or the search.
- If there is a new calendar, subscribe to it – just like the first time.
- You can then remove the old season calendar from your calendar app.
What about last season's events?
They are not lost: on the calfeed page you can download completed years as a calendar file under “Events from previous years” and import them if needed.
Tip: if the new schedule is not on calovo yet, the season has usually not been published in the official source – check back a few days later.
