You do not cancel a calendar subscription with calovo – you simply remove it in the calendar app or account it lives in. The subscription ends immediately; there are no costs and no notice periods.
By the way: the note “Remove calovo calendar?” at the end of every event leads exactly here – so you are in the right place.
iPhone & iPad
- Open the Calendar app and tap “Calendars” at the bottom.
- Tap the info icon (i) next to the calfeed.
- Choose “Unsubscribe” at the very bottom and confirm (older iOS versions call it “Delete Calendar”).
Mac
Right-click the calfeed in the sidebar of the Calendar app → “Unsubscribe” / “Delete”.
Google Calendar
- Open calendar.google.com in a browser (not possible in the phone app).
- Open “Settings” via the gear icon, select the calfeed on the left, and click “Remove calendar” → “Unsubscribe”. Quick way: hover over the calfeed in the calendar list on the left and click the X.
The calendar then disappears from the Google Calendar app and Samsung Calendar on your devices as well.
Android / calovo app
If you subscribed via the calovo app:
- Open the app – you see the list “Your calendars”.
- Tap the ⋮ icon on the right of the calendar's card.
- Choose “Unsubscribe” and confirm.
Only this subscribed calendar is removed – your personal calendar stays untouched. Right afterwards an “Undo” option appears briefly in case you tapped by mistake.
If the subscription ran via your Google account instead of the app, follow the Google steps above.
Outlook
Right-click the calfeed in the calendar list → “Remove” / “Delete”. This applies to Outlook on the web, the new, and the classic Outlook.
The calendar keeps coming back?
Then the subscription is still active in another account – typically it lives in iCloud (and syncs back to all Apple devices) or in a second Google/Microsoft account. Remove it in the account where it was originally added. On iPhone you can see which subscriptions live in which account under Calendar → “Calendars”; for Google, check the list at calendar.google.com.
