calovo has two sides, and that regularly causes mix-ups:
- Subscribing – you want someone else's calendar in your calendar app. That needs no account, no sign-up, and no app.
- Providing – you want to publish your own events. That is what calpit is for, the cockpit for clubs, organizers, and companies.
People who only wanted to subscribe sometimes end up in the provider sign-up by mistake. Here is the way back.
How to find the calendar you are looking for
- Look for it directly on calovo – fastest via the calendar overview or the search. A short search term (just the club or broadcaster name) finds more than a long one.
- Open the calendar's page and click “Subscribe” there.
- The step-by-step guide for your device is at Subscribe to a calendar.
If the calendar you want does not exist yet, its provider can publish it on calovo for free – feel free to let them know.
I already created a provider account
No harm done: a Free account costs nothing and has no minimum term. You can simply leave it be – or delete it:
- Sign in to calpit.
- Open Account & invoices in the navigation.
- At the very bottom of the “Account data” section you find the red Delete account entry.
- On the following page you confirm the deletion by typing the word löschen.
Deleting removes the account page, all connected users, all calfeeds, and all events you created yourself – and it cannot be undone. As long as you have not published anything, that has no consequences. If you get stuck, support will help.
One last thing: deleting a provider account does not end any calendar subscriptions. Events only disappear once you remove the calendar in your calendar app – see remove a calfeed.
