All three adjustments happen locally in your calendar app: they do not change the calfeed itself and can be undone at any time.
One note upfront: you cannot permanently edit individual events of a subscription – every refresh reconciles it with the provider's version, so your changes are lost. Create your own events in your personal calendar instead.
Show and hide
Hiding is useful when you do not want to see a calendar right now but want to keep the subscription – for example during the summer break.
- iPhone/iPad: Calendar app → “Calendars” → remove or set the check mark next to the calfeed.
- Mac: check mark in the Calendar app sidebar.
- Google Calendar (web): select/deselect the calendar in the list on the left. In the phone app: Settings → calendar → “Show”.
- Outlook: check mark in the calendar list.
Change color
- iPhone/iPad: Calendar app → “Calendars” → info icon (i) next to the calfeed → choose a color.
- Mac: right-click the calendar → “Get Info” → color.
- Google Calendar (web): three-dot menu next to the calendar → choose a color.
- Outlook: right-click the calendar → “Color”.
calovo app (Android): everything in one place
In the calovo app you change name, color, and more directly on the subscription: tap ⋮ on the calendar's card → “Edit”. There you set:
- Name and color of the calendar
- “Adopt reminders” – whether the provider's reminders are used
- “Refresh” – how often the app checks for changes (3, 6, 12, or 24 hours)
Rename
The new name only applies in your calendar app – on calovo the calfeed keeps its name.
- iPhone/iPad: info icon (i) next to the calfeed → edit the name.
- Mac: double-click the calendar name in the sidebar or right-click → “Get Info”.
- Google Calendar (web): calendar settings → “Name”.
- Outlook: right-click → “Rename”.
