Important to understand: with a calendar subscription, your calendar app fetches the events from calovo regularly – we cannot push them into your calendar. As soon as an event changes, the new version is ready on our side. When it appears on your device depends on your calendar app's refresh interval.
Typical refresh intervals
| Calendar app | Interval |
|---|---|
| iPhone / iPad (Apple Calendar) | automatic at regular intervals, controlled by iOS (not configurable) |
| Mac (Apple Calendar) | configurable: every 5 minutes up to weekly; manual refresh via “View” → “Refresh Calendars” |
| Google Calendar | usually a few hours, in rare cases up to 72 hours; cannot be triggered manually |
| Outlook.com / Microsoft 365 / new Outlook | according to Microsoft roughly every 3–6 hours, occasionally more than 24 hours |
| Classic Outlook (desktop) | checks regularly in the background (tied to “Send/Receive”, configurable) |
| calovo app (Android) | every 6 hours, configurable per calendar (3/6/12/24 h); manually any time by pulling down the list |
What does that mean in practice?
- A short-notice match rescheduling can take a few hours to show up in Google or Outlook – that is normal and not a problem with your subscription.
- You get updates fastest on the Mac (interval “Every 5 minutes”) and with the calovo app for Android (down to every 3 hours, plus manual refresh).
- The interval cannot be sped up in Google or Outlook – re-subscribing does not help either.
