Spring Concert of the Youth Orchestra of the Bavarian Philharmonic

The Youth Orchestra of the Bavarian Philharmonic is one of the most traditional youth orchestras in Germany. Its name is synonymous with both dedicated and intense musical performance.

In its spring concert this year, the Youth Orchestra of the Bavarian Philharmonic, under the direction of Henri Bonamy, presents a contrasting programme featuring three great composers of the Viennese Classical period – Mozart, Beethoven, and Haydn, as well as Heinz Schubert, a German composer of the 20th century. This year’s guest is violinist David Frühwirth, who has already made a name for himself in the international music scene. The symphonic work of the evening is Joseph Haydn’s “Symphony No. 99” (London Symphony). The conductor Henri Bonamy will lead Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 from the piano.
