With the traditional performance of Johann Sebastian Bach's Christmas Oratory, soloists, the chamber choir, and the chamber orchestra of the Bavarian Philharmonic, under the direction of Mark Mast, invite you to a contemplative pre-Christmas concert. Bach's popular vocal work is a synonym for hope, joy, and splendor, and is in a sense a "audible" light in the winter season. At the same time, this concert in the Allerheiligen-Hofkirche of the Residence marks the solemn conclusion of the choral-symphonic year and the Klangzeit 2017 of the Bavarian Philharmonic.
