Rote Funken-Artillerie Eschweiler

The society is a member of the Karnevalskomitee der Stadt Eschweiler e.V., the Bund Deutscher Karneval e.V. (BDK), and the Närrische Europäische Gemeinschaft (NEG). With approximately 350 members (over 200 in uniform), the Rote Funken-Artillerie is the largest carnival society in the carnival stronghold of Eschweiler. In the third-largest Rose Monday parade in Germany, the society provides the largest parade contingent with over 700 participants.
14 carnival princes and ceremonial masters have been made available to the Eschweiler carnival by the Roten Funken since their founding. Funken events are worth a visit! Our own forces, forces from Eschweiler, and forces from the region as far as Cologne fill our program. However, it is very important to us to motivate our own members to develop their talents and use them for us and the visitors of Eschweiler's Fastelovend. We can proudly present Bütten speakers, duets, dance and music groups within our own ranks. We, the Rote Funken-Artillerie Eschweiler e.V. 1913, also bring our program to other stages (drum and bugle corps, music corps, men's dance guard, women's dance guard, show dance group, and the calling card of every traditional corps, the dance pair). With this program, approximately 130 uniformed Funken march into Eschweiler's halls and throughout the region, turning every hall into a 'cauldron'!

But we have also been able to present ourselves several times in Cologne at the Gürzenich (Blaue Funken Köln) or at the Maritim (Rote Funken Köln).
